Pacific Kalokairi is a boutique adults-only hotel in Tamarindo, located in the hills just 7 minutes from the
town center and the beach. Reaching us is easy, and we offer several transportation options to suit your travel
style.
Recommended Option: Rental Car
The most comfortable and flexible way to reach our hotel in Tamarindo is to rent a car. This allows you to explore nearby beaches like Avellanas, Conchal, Flamingo, Langosta and Playa Negra at your own pace.
Because some roads in Costa Rica are not fully paved, we recommend renting a 4×4 or SUV, especially if you plan to discover hidden beaches and off-the-beaten-path areas.

Domestic Flights – The Fastest Option
You can also fly to Tamarindo via SANSA Airlines:
- San José (SJO) → Tamarindo (45 minutes)
- Liberia (LIR) → Tamarindo (20 minutes)
The Tamarindo Airport is just 12 minutes from the hotel. Airport pick-up can be arranged on request.

Uber operates in a limited way in the area. Local taxis are also available and we can assist with arrangements.
Absolutely. You can reach us by private shuttle or taxi. Tamarindo town is just a short drive away.
Yes, we will be happy to store your luggage while you enjoy the pool or restaurant.
Yes. The road is paved almost all the way to the property.
The final 900 meters are not paved, but the road is well maintained and accessible.
For comfort and flexibility while exploring Guanacaste, we still recommend a 4×4 or SUV.
