Adults Only Hotel

Pacific Kalokairi is an adults-only hotel. Guests under 18 years old are not allowed.

Reservation Responsibility & Payments

The reservation holder accepts full responsibility for all charges generated during the stay. If the person, company, or agency responsible for payment fails to do so, the guest agrees to cover the total amount.
If the guest does not check out at reception, the hotel is authorized to charge all pending expenses to the credit card provided at the time of booking or check-in.

Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Check-out: until 11:00 am

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Occupancy

All rooms have a maximum capacity of 2 adults and are strictly for registered guests only. If a guest wishes to add an additional person during the stay, prior authorization from the hotel is required. Once approved, the additional guest must register at reception before 9:00 pm. Without registration, access to the property will not be granted.

Website Use & Information Accuracy

The user declares to be over 18 years old and legally able to contract services. The user agrees to provide accurate information including full name, email, phone number, travel dates, room category, number of guests, and valid credit card details.

Payment Methods

Payments can be made in cash (USD or colones) or by VISA and Mastercard credit cards.

Breakfast Included

À la carte breakfast is included only in reservations made directly through our official website: www.pacifickalokairi.com. Guests who book through other platforms may purchase breakfast at an additional cost.

No Pets Policy

To ensure peace and comfort for all guests, pets are not allowed, including emotional support or service
animals.

Tranquility Policy

Pacific Kalokairi is designed for rest and relaxation. Speakers or loud music are not permitted in common areas.

No Smoking Policy

According to Costa Rican law, smoking is prohibited in rooms and public areas. A $600 USD cleaning fee will apply if smoking is detected inside the room.

Security Deposit

A $600 USD credit card pre-authorization will be held at check-in to cover potential damages or unreported charges. This will be released within 24 hours after check-out (subject to the guest’s bank processing times). If damages exceed this amount, the guest will be notified and charged accordingly.

Personal Belongings

Each room is equipped with a safe. The hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of items not securedproperly.

Early Departure or No Show

In case of early departure or no show, under any circumstance, 100% of the reservation total must be paid.

No refunds or credits apply.

Food Allergies

Guests must inform the restaurant staff of any food allergies prior to consumption. The hotel is not responsible for any reactions if this information is not communicated in advance.

Safety

For your safety, please keep balcony doors closed to prevent wildlife from entering. Guests are responsible for the proper use of hotel facilities.

Rate or Availability Errors

The hotel is not responsible for technical errors related to rates or availability displayed on booking
platforms. In such cases, the reservation will be canceled and any payment made will be fully refunded.

Cancelation policy

At Pacific Kalokairi, we understand that plans may change. However, as a small boutique hotel, last-minute
cancellations have a significant impact. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before booking.

  • The full payment is required 21 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
  • Guests will receive a secure payment link (CompraClick) to complete the process with their preferred credit card.
  • If payment is not made within the deadline, the hotel is authorized to process the charge manually on the registered card.
  • Reservations not paid 21 days before arrival will be automatically cancelled.
  • Cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival incur no charge and can be requested by email at info@pacifickalokairi.com.
  • Cancellations made within 21 days of arrival or in case of no show are non-refundable.
  • Reservations may be modified once, only if the arrival date is more than 21 days away, requested by email and subject to availability.
  • The hotel reserves the right to cancel bookings due to technical errors or extraordinary circumstances, with prior notification and full refund.
  • A positive COVID-19 test is not accepted as a valid reason for cancellation or date change.

Aceptance of terms and conditions and cancellation policy

By making a reservation at Pacific Kalokairi—whether through our official website, email, WhatsApp, phone, or any external platform—the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions as well as the Cancellation Policy.

Confirming the reservation constitutes legal acceptance of this agreement and a commitment to comply with all hotel policies during the stay.
